Week 1: Language of the Horse and Round Pen Demystified
Week 2: Mindfulness and Refining Round Pen Work Week 3: Ground Work & Boundaries; Herd Ranking & Personalities Week 4: “The Wheel” (Irwin Insights) & Stall Etiquette Week 5: Vienna Rein Lunging & 3 Circles of Concentration Week 6: Introducing Scary Objects, Review & Refining Skills |
Cost of the course - $150 if paid in full, $200 if paid weekly over the 6 weeks. (10% – 15% Discount for Members of Acres of Love.)
The skills taught in this course build from week to week so a commitment to attend all 6 weeks is required. Auditors are welcome! ($10/evening - full clinic participation is not required.) Both participants and auditors should bring a chair. All horses Negative Coggins required. |
Besides being a Master Trainer (Level 2) in the brilliant and nuanced Irwin Insights system of renowned international trainer Chris Irwin, Catherine is also a certified equine massage therapist and a yoga, dance & meditation teacher. She combines all of her skills and experiences to help cultivate a beautiful, trusting, deeply respectful and loving relationship between horse and human. She recently relocated from New York where she was well known for her unique approach of compassion & playfulness that she likes to call Enlightened Horsemanship.
